What is bleeding into the skin?

When a blood vessel bursts, a small amount of blood escapes from the vessel into the body. This blood may show up just beneath the surface of the skin. Blood vessels can burst for many reasons, but it usually happens as a result of an injury.

What causes bleeding into the skin?

Common causes of bleeding into the skin are:

• injury
• allergic reaction
• infections of the blood
• autoimmune disorders
• birth
• bruises
• medication side effects
• chemotherapy side effects
• radiation side effects
• normal process of aging

Certain infections and diseases can cause bleeding under the skin, such as:

• meningitis, an inflammation of the membranes covering the brain and spinal cord
• leukemia, a cancer of the blood cells
• strep throat, a bacterial infection that causes a sore throat
• sepsis, a body-wide inflammatory response to bacterial infection

If you experience any of the following symptoms seek medical care immediately:

• pain in the area of bleeding
• significant bleeding from an open wound
• a lump over the bleeding into the skin
• darkening of the skin affected
• swelling in the extremities
• bleeding gums, nose, urine, or stool

Section Of Eppawela Phosphate Factory Building Has Been Destroyed Due To A Fire

A section of the building at Eppawela Phosphate Factory has been destroyed this morning due to a sudden fire erupted on the building it has been reported.Several files related to a bribery case too were destroyed due to the fire the reports have stated.

The fire had destroyed the section which allocated for supply,documenting  and accounting divisions and it has been estimated that the value of the damage done due to the fire will be around Rs.5 million.

Meanwhile the authorities of Eppawela Phosphate Factory have stated that cause of the fire has not yet revealed and ruled out the possibility of an act of conspiracy behind it.

Three Youth Drowned Whilst Bathing At Sea Off Nagadeepa

Three Youth were reported as  drowned in sea off Nagadeepa Island beach (In Jaffna)whilst bathing there according to Police.

The deceased were 21,22 and 23 years old resided in Kondavil Area the Police have stated.The remains of the deceased have sent to Jaffna Teaching Hospital for an autopsy it has been reported.

Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero Was Indicted And Released On Bail Over Illegal Possession Of An Elephant Calf

Venerable Uduwe Dhammaloka Thero was indicted today(20) on the charges of  keeping an elephant calf at his Temple Alanmathiniyaramaya without a valid license and later released on bail by Colombo High Court.

The Uduwe Thero was released on two personal bails of Rs.10 million each and a cash bail imposed by the Magistrate .He was detained and remanded on an earlier occasion too on the same charge and later released on bail.
