International Cricket Council Has Imposed A Ban On Sri Lankan Cricket Opener Kusal Janith-Sports Minister To Ease The Ban

Image result for kusal janith pereraThe International Cricket Council (ICC) has  imposed a  ban on Sri Lankan Cricketer Kusal Janith Perera following the "B" Report of his Urine Sample positive for a banned substance.

The Hard Hitting Opener of the Sri Lankan National Cricket Team has been recalled to the island from New Zealand on 07th of December where Sri Lankan Cricket Team is currently playing a series of matches after finding he is positive for using a banned substance.

Meanwhile Sri Lankan Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekere has said that as Kusal has acted according to his Physiotherapist's Advise ,he will trying to ease the ban imposed on Kusal in his capacity.

Bank Of Ceylon Employees Union To Launch An Awareness Campaign For The Public Regarding 2016-Annual Budget Proposals

The Bank Of Ceylon Employees Union has decided to launch an awareness campaign for the Public regarding  2016-Annual Budget Proposals.This Campaign will be launched within first two weeks of Next January according to the Union.

The awareness campaign will consists Seminars,Leaflet Distribution , Poster Campaign and public meetings the Union has said.

Before end of January The Bank of Ceylon Employees Union is also due to take a decision on trade union action against Annual Budget-2016 .

Eleventh Anniversary Of The Tsunami Disaster Which Hit Sri Lanka On 2004 Falls Tomorrow(26)

The Disaster Management Center has appealed the Public to observe 2 minute silence from 9.25 a.m to 9.27 a.m on tomorrow morning to commemorate the Tsunami Victims.A Religious Ceremonies to commemorate Those who killed due to   Tsunami Disaster will be conducted in all 25 Districts of the Island tomorrow according to the center.

Tsunami Disaster which hit Sri Lanka 11 years ago had killed more than 35,000 Sri Lankans and destroyed a large number of properties in the country.
