Government Still Not Implement The Supreme Court Order Over The Petrol Price

Exactly A weak a Go The Supreme Court Ordered to Reduced the Petrol Litre To Rs.100.But It is sad that the Government still not able to Implement that Court Order by Reducing the Petrol Litre of the Government Owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation(CPC).The Petrol Stations belongs to the CPC Are still selling the Petrol Litre for Rs.122.However Indian Oil Lanka Company Reduced the Price to Rs.100 as directed by the Supreme Court.There are Large Vehicle Quau seen in front of the Indian Oil Lanka owned Filling stations these days due To their Price Reduction.

GMOA Wants Health Minster To Implement The Drug Policy Soon


Health Ministry Should Reduced The Large Number of Drugs Which are Imported to the Country By Implementing the National Drug Policy of the Professor Senaka Bibile Government Medical Officers Association(GMOA)SAYS.There are around 8000 Drugs Imported to Sri Lanka Annually and According to The Senaka Bibile Drug Policy the Country only needs Around 328 varieties of Drugs.Due to the Importing these Drugs from Trade Names One Drug will Imported from Several Trade Names Says GMOA.A spokesman Of the Association said that Health Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva who is also the Chairman Of the Executive Committee Of the World Health Organization(WHO) Should Implement the National Drug Policy Of the Prof.Bibile before His Term of the Presidency is Over.'He will Become a Hero' if he is doing so He stressed.

One Thousand Two Hundrad Pre Intern Medical Graduates Demanding Their Internship Appointments


Pre Intern Medical Graduates Association Said Today that There Are Around 1200 Medical Graduates who are waiting For Internship Appointments From Up to Thirteen Months And they will Decided their future Demonstration Campaign over the Delaying Of these Appointments By this Thursday(25).These Medical Graduates are Belongs to the Three Batches and First Batch is Compromised with 200 medical Graduates. they are in the Waiting List Around Thirteen Months due to the Irregularities of their Merit List.Even this Merit List Scrutinized Three Times Authorities have Not Taken Any steps to Implement It According to the Convener of the Association Dr.Thushara Weerasuriya.
He Said that Around Eight Hundred Medical Graduates Belongs to the Second Batch waiting for the Appointments since Eight Months and Another Two Hundred Graduates are waiting Two Months.
